Classes & Trainings

A private long range gun range located in Idaho on 2300 acres of private property, offers a variety of training opportunities for gun enthusiasts and professionals. The range offers individual and group classes, as well as trainings for self defense and security. The facility is designed to provide a safe and controlled environment for individuals to learn and practice their shooting skills at long range. Additionally, the ample space allows for the training of security personnel and other professionals in realistic scenarios. The range is open to the public, but requires reservations in order to use the facilities.

FIREARM & RANGE RULES

Safety Rules & Regulations

RANGE MASTER MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES WHEN USING THE DMR SHOOTING RANGE: There must be a designated range master at all times when shooting

DMR Gun range waiver: Everyone must fill out the gun range safety waiver

Horse Advisory: You must ensure no one is riding horses at the ranch when shooting

DO NOT SHOOT AT ANY ANIMALS!

Every gun is loaded: Treat every gun as if it's loaded and dangerous

Only point at it if you want it destroyed: Always keep the gun pointed downrange and never point a gun

at anything you are not planning to shoot at.

Mind the trigger: Keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to fire.

Be safe: Keep the safety in the ON position and the action door open until you are ready to fire.

If it’s loaded leave it on the line: Check to make sure your firearm is unloaded, the action door is open

and the safety is on before bringing it off the shooting line.

Protect yourself: Wear protective eye wear and ear protections at all times, even when not shooting.

Check your weapon: Always make sure your weapon is functioning correctly, properly cleaned, and safe

to use.

Know your target and beyond: Always know what you are shooting at and be mindful of what is around

and behind your target.

Alcohol and gunpowder do not mix: It is absolutely prohibited to bring alcohol into the shooting range.

Removing Targets: When you are done using the targets please clean them up and put away.

Permission to shoot: You must have permission from DMR Resort to shoot at our private range. If you have

not made any reservations you must call us at 208-646-4265 or 208-544-0035 to reserve time at the range.

FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THE ABOVE RULES MAY RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM FACILITY AND DENIAL FOR FUTURE SHOOTING PRIVILEGES
